Shop Counter Sales

The shop is now open at 9.30 from Monday to Saturday, and from 10 on Sundays. While we are doing PYO closing time will be 8pm during the week and 5.30pm at the weekend.

The Strawberries are all from the field - Just Alice or Florence left now. The crop has peaked - supplies will reduce from now on.

Picked punnets of Raspberries daily for the next few weeks.

Gooseberries by the punnet or bag. The Invicta are getting sweet enough to eat as a dessert fruit now.

Fresh Rhubarb is available daily.

Bags of Home Grown Rocket, Salad Leaves, Spinach and Chard picked every day. The bunches of Radishes will be scarce for a week or so - waiting on the next sowing.

The outdoor Broad Beans are looking very nice and are in the shop daily. Bargain Bags of 2.5kg at a reduced price.

The choice of Locally Grown Veg has improved now - Spring Greens, Bunched Carrots & Beetroot, Savoy Cabbage, Spring Onions, Mint, Onions, Mushrooms, as well as Rodda's Cream and Free Range Eggs.

A few heads of Home Grown Calabrese every day now.

We have a few jars of Honey from a local beekeeper.

Yoga equipment is still available - Mats, Belts, Blocks, Bricks etc.

If you have changed your e-mail address, don't forget to let us know so we can update our mailing list.

If you have a collection of clean supermarket carrier bags and don't know what to do with them, please bring them to us and we will re-use them for you. Egg boxes too.

We are attempting to reduce the number of plastic bags we use in the shop. There are some items which need to be bagged, and we will continue to do so. Re-using supermarket bags does help, but is not the real answer. Please try to remember to bring a basket, cardboard box or re-useable bag with you. We sell a neat fold up reuseable bag with a solid base for a very reasonable £1.50

Pick Your Own

PYO Redcurrants, Blackcurrants, Gooseberries and Strawberries are now available.
NOW is the time to get your Strawberries and Gooseberries - they won't be there much longer.

Not enough Raspberries for now to allow PYO - sorry. May be able to do so later on, if not, then maybe next year.

Please bring your own containers - Get them weighed in the shop before picking!!!

Want to make jam, but don't have the time now? Pick your fruit in season and freeze it till you have more time later in the year. Lots of other uses for frozen fruit too - Stewed mixed fruits for crumbles, pies and on breakfast cereal, ice cream, fruit smoothies......... Ask in the shop if you need more ideas.
