Shop Counter Sales

The shop has now closed for the season. We will open again in spring 2010 - probably in late March or early April.

Many Thanks to all the customers who have supported us again this year - You are very much appreciated and valued.

Frozen Gooseberries & Blackcurrants, Honeycomb & Jars of Honey, Yoga equipment - Mats, Belts, Blocks, Bricks etc. are all still available even though the shop has closed for the winter. Either ring and leave your name and number on our answer machine, or e-mail and we will get back to you to arrange a time to collect them.

If you have changed your e-mail address, don't forget to let us know so we can update our mailing list.

If you have a collection of clean supermarket carrier bags and don't know what to do with them, please bring them to us and we will re-use them for you. Egg boxes too.

We are attempting to reduce the number of plastic bags we use in the shop. There are some items which need to be bagged, and we will continue to do so. Re-using supermarket bags does help, but is not the real answer. Please try to remember to bring a basket, cardboard box or re-useable bag with you. We sell a neat fold up reuseable bag with a solid base for a very reasonable £1.50

Pick Your Own

All PYO is now finished for this year.

Next crop for PYO will be Gooseberries and Strawberries at about the same as Wimbledon 2010 (Mid June).

Please bring your own containers - Get them weighed in the shop before picking!

Want to make jam, but don't have the time when the fruit is all ready? Pick your fruit in season and freeze it till you have more time later in the year. Lots of other uses for frozen fruit too - Stewed mixed fruits for crumbles, pies, on breakfast cereal, ice cream, fruit smoothies......... Ask in the shop if you need more ideas.
